Bon Bini and Welcome to our little piece of paradise on the beautiful island of Curacao!

Prior to departure, please visit Curacao.com to complete your Curacao visitors immigration form and passenger locator card (PLC). Please read this email and the attached rules carefully.

Jan (pronounced Yan) and Wendy are our local contacts during your stay and will assist you with check in and check out procedures plus key exchange and for any maintenance and/or cleaning requests. You can connect with them by email but it's easiest via WhatsApp here on the island, they have been copied in this email and the local mobile number is +599 9 525 4912 please contact them with your flight and arrival/departure information

The condo is self catering, the unit will be clean upon your arrival and you will have bath and beach towels available for your use during your stay, the beds will have clean sheets upon arrival. Electricity is European 220 Volts, we have some adapters throughout and power bars in North American 110 Volts. Please do not use electric shavers or small electrical personal appliances in the bathroom unless they are 220 Volts, otherwise they will trip the circuit breaker. Hair dryers are available in the bathrooms for use during your stay. You may also use the snorkelling equipment in the white plastic containers. The beach palapas are first come first served with one palapa per unit, extra loungers are available. Do not leave towels or personal items unattended for more than 30 minutes. Keep in mind that this building is not a resort, it is a private residence, please keep the noise down and be respectful of our neighbours.

We have a dishwasher and washer/dryer available for your use during your stay. Please do not overload the washer otherwise it won’t complete the cycle and may leak. The dryer is a European style condenser dryer and does not vent to the exterior, please make sure you empty the water container and clear the lint trap after every use. You may also need to pull out the heat exchanger occasionally to dry it out and clear any dust build up.

Also, please keep the window crank above the kitchen sink closed, those cranks are very sensitive and expensive to repair, that goes with the other three window cranks behind the couch, please be gentle with them. You will find it best to keep them closed when the aircon is on and use the main sliding door to the patio and front door for air circulation in the condo otherwise. Please open and close the sliding patio door gently (the handle is a bit loose). Please use the upright fan on the patio for a breeze during outdoor meals. The aircon is in each room, please set it to "A" for Auto at the desired temperature, we usually find 23/24 degrees as the most comfortable. We also have ceiling fans in each room that are a big help too. If you don't like the aircon, it is often best to turn it off and use the ceiling fans available in the apartment for airflow, especially in the main living area. You can fully open the patio door for true indoor/outdoor Caribbean living. Please make sure the aircon is turned off when not in use and at the end of your stay.

Our Nissan Kicks mini SUV will be available during your stay. We ask that the car be left full (there is a Vanddis gas station close by, right out of the complex a few blocks down) and is washed at the end of your stay, please take the car to Bob Autowas next door to Van den Tweel Supermarket. You can plug your iPhone into the car to use Apple Car Play and use Google maps to navigate the island, a cord is provided in the car.

Not sure if you are divers or not, but Dive Center Pietermaai at Scuba Lodge down the street towards town is best, I believe they will also come directly to Beau Rivage and you can dive right off our private beach, otherwise there are many dive sites all over the island. There are also some very good golf options on the island at Blue Bay or Old Quarry in Santa Barbara
